Complex Bush 2

 These digital images were made on Flinders Island in 2016. Re-visiting these images led to a re-evaluation of some earlier film based work and resulted in the 'Bush Chaos' series.

The landscape on Flinders Island is a distinctly wild one, complex, chaotic and 'difficult' to interpret at times, but as before, these are an attempt to make sense of it.

These are some further digital examples relating to the 'Bush Chaos' series I have been working on. 

In a way, these two images belong together and have been edited to enhance the notion that 'nothing is more, or less important' in the overall image. The purpose being to kep some background 'structure' to an otherwise impenetrable, chaotic surface (as in 'Blue Poles' for example)...
