A Trip to Bright

I have just returned from a 4 day trip to stay in Bright and explore the surrounding region a bit....

Day 1 ...
On the way I stopped in Euroa and took a drive up the road to Boho (just outside Violet Town), just to get off the highway for a while ...

The colours in Bright are just brilliant at this time of year...

Day 2 ...

The following day involved a trip to Mt. Beauty, then the Kiewa Valley Highway, Tawonga Gap Lookout, then through Dederang to Yackendandah, Beechworth and Rutherglen...

This turned out to be a rather long (320 km) and overly ambitious day... 

So much to see up here...

Day 3 ...

Headed to Milewa ... a slower day and fewer kilometres

On the way back a stop off in Wandilagong ...

Back to Bright for a nice walk by the river ...

Day 4 .... 

Back home via the King Valley .... All very beautiful but as it rained heavily all day, it wasn't really photo worthy. Had to give Paradise Falls and Powers Lookout a miss... ah well, maybe next time....
