Amcor Factory_Final Phase

The Amcor factory site is now in the final stages of demolition (and very noisy it is too!)
Alphington has a current population of 4500 residents and the plans for the factory site are for up to 5000 new residents... a somewhat scary thought and one has to wonder how the current infrastructure is going to cope...it isn't!
The big chimney is now gone after a long delay in demolition and this image shows the final gutting of the Heidelberg Road buildings...
