In the darkroom years, one of the difficult and hard to control processes was using lithographic developers (Kodalith developer) to make prints... Lith developers were usually used to make high contrast images on lith (ortho) film, however if used in a very dilute manner, it could be used to make prints ... the prints displayed a beautiful and complex range of brown / pink coloration that was unique to the process ...
One of the great local practitioners of this (now rare) process is Robert Besanko.
