Tasmania Trip- Part 2
Here is part 2 of the Tasmania trip...
Hobart back to Devonport via the west coat...
Leaving Hobart, to New norfolk, Westaway and to the Russell Falls, heading to Lake St. Claire, Queenstown, Strahan, then a long drive back to Wynyard, via Zeehan ... we wanted to head to Wynyard but were forced to head to Bernie instead because of road closure due to a section of the Targa road race being run (inconsiderate, aren't they!)
On leaving Wynyard, we headed to the far north west coast and Arthur River (quite a long drive) via Smithton, Christmas Hills, Brittons Swamp, then back to the Tarkine area and Dismal Swamp. Then on to to Stanley (very interesting place) and our final drive back to Devonport via, Hellyer, Black River, Port Latta... stopping in to the Rocky Cape national Park, Penguin and Burnie ... having a bit of spare time before the boat departed we headed to Sheffield, then finally back to Devonport ... lovely trip ...
