Up in the roof

I have been spending considerable time in the roof in the last few months, cleaning things up, getting the old insulfluff taken out (yuk!) and putting in lovely new polyester batts (it's already made a noticeable difference on the hot days too)... I found these very old remnants from electricians cable drums (left assumably by the electrician probably some seventy or eighty years ago)...
