Balnarring Beach

After the Garden Vineyard it was time for a visit to Balnarring Beach... always a beautiful place to be... calm and quiet... 

Sunshine eventually gave way to a scudding storm and things turned somewhat dark... Standing on this beach I am often reminded of the long panels Fred Williams painted in this area. There is a stunning retrospective of his work at the NGV at the moment and I am hoping there might be some from this series on show...
