Momento Mori 2
Another experiment with my 'Momento Mori' series... my ideas are still evolving...
Whether these images work better as black and white or with some sepia toning is something I am still wrestling with ... in some ways the 'purer' B&W image reflects the notion of reminders of our imminent demise, while other 'toned' version carries a sense of antiquity and patination.

This memento mori would have been good for those movers and shakers in the boom times. Maybe they would have thought twice. (Then again, probably not)!
