Central Australia _ Day 6

Now on the final stage of our journey ... Sunrise at Uluru ...
Up at 5:45 and it was a rather cool one degree morning, with a significant wind chill factor and needed to be well rugged up... the constantly changing light very beautiful ...

Later in the morning we went for a walk round the base of Uluru and visited the Muti Julu Waterhole area, a stunning walk with aboriginal rock painting, incredible rock faces, landscape and waterhole  ...

Waiting for a second Uluru sunset, before viewing the 'Field off Lights' ...
Glowing spinifex grass and desert oaks (the smaller, vertical 'triffid' like juveniles are up to 80 years old, while the mature versions are up to 300 years old... amazing)...
